Lantern Restaurant is generously hosting a dinner on October 26th at 6:30pm in honor of Nathalie Dupree’s Charleston Lecture. All of the proceeds will benefit the programming at The Center for the Study of the American South.

Andrea Reusing, the 2011 James Beard Foundation’s Best Chef Southeast and chef/owner of Lantern collaborates with nearby family farms in her marriage of North Carolina ingredients and Asian flavors. The folks at Lantern will be cooking up special dishes just for our guests, to include soft shell shrimp, Lantern pickles and house made charcuterie along with other incredible food. A carefully curated wine selection will be paired with the food.

Tickets for the dinner are $150 each, 100% of which is tax deductible. Due to the date quickly approaching, we are asking that you please call us at 919-962-5665, or email us at csas@unc.edu to reserve your space.

We are looking forward to a wonderful evening of great food, wine and conversation. And a very big thank you to Lantern Restaurant and Andrea Reusing for their generous support of the Center!
