THE GRAMMY-WINNING BAND THE CAROLINA CHOCOLATE DROPS IS AUCTIONING AN AUTOGRAPHED DEERING GOODTIME BANJO TO BENEFIT THE CENTER FOR THE STUDY OF THE AMERICAN SOUTH, A RESEARCH CENTER OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA AT CHAPEL HILL
The funds raised as part of this auction will go towards the Center’s music programming, which include a series of concerts called Music on the Porch, as well as the annual music issue of Southern Cultures. A portion will also go towards the costs of administering our Sounds of the South Undergraduate Research Award.
