The 2012 Chandler Lecture was the keynote address at the 2012 Global American South Symposium held April 21, 2012 on the campus of the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.

Dr. Kyriakoudes specializes in the social and economic history of the 19th and 20th-century United States. He is the director of The Center for Oral History and Cultural Heritage and Associate Professor of History at the University of Southern Mississippi.
